well, i should have known....
20 minutes after my last post, we find out that ethan is leaving for the first part of his training this weekend!! So much for 30 days notice!!! Here's the story (translated into english for you non-military folk).
He’s starting with 1 month of pre-pre-training (maybe nothern alberta or ontario)
-followed by 5 weeks of pre-training (kingston)
-followed by 1 year of real training…(kingston)
-followed by 2 + years first posting (ottawa area)
I’m not kidding.
We’re meeting with our military social worker this week, so hopefully she can help with the insanity!!! I REALLY WANT TO GO WITH!!!

I hope you get to go with him, especially since he will be in Kingston for a year! I am so sad that this didn't happen earlier when I lived in Watertown. We could have been neighbours!
